Emre is a PhD candidate at the Department of Economics in UiT the Arctic University of Norway. His doctoral research studies are multigenerational health transmission in the 18th- and 19th-century Southern Norway, neighborhood effect on health behavior and the social inequalities in health. He holds an MSc degree in Financial Economics from Istanbul Bilgi University and a BA in Business Administration from Istanbul University.
