The AHRC’s Peer Review College has members from higher education institutions and independent research organisations in the United Kingdom and overseas, and from outside academia.
Members provide expert reviews of grant proposals across the range of the AHRC’s schemes within their areas of expertise. The reviews inform panels and, ultimately, the AHRC’s decision-making processes. Membership of moderating and assessment panels is also drawn largely from the College.
Applications across the disciplinary remit are strongly encouraged from persons who identify as an ethnic minority, persons with disabilities, persons of diverse gender identities and expressions, and persons identifying with other groups who are currently underrepresented.
Applications are also encouraged from people with specific arts and humanities-relevant professional experience and expertise that is currently underrepresented on our College; a full list can be found in the call document.
