The Cambridge Economic and Social History Workshop is now open for submissions for Michaelmas Term 2026. Please see the flyer for more details.
We welcome papers on any aspect of social and economic history, from any period or region. The workshop is a friendly environment for discussion and feedback, and for many of our speakers it is the first time they have presented their research. We are especially keen to hear from Cambridge postgraduates this year, and MPhil and first-year PhD students are warmly encouraged to apply. Sessions will be held in person in Cambridge.
To apply, please send a title and a short abstract (200–300 words) to the Workshop Convenor, Can Kazan, by Monday 21 September 2026. Anything received after that will be considered for Lent Term instead.
Please do circulate this to anyone who might be interested.
