Eric Schneider is Associate Professor of Economic History at the London School of Economics and a CEPR Research Affiliate. He completed his DPhil at the University of Oxford in 2013 and was a lecturer at the University of Sussex before joining LSE in 2015. He has wide-ranging research interests related to health, demography, living standards and economic growth and development. His publications have addressed topics from medieval agriculture to real wages to nutrition during the British Industrial Revolution. His current research focuses on the history of health with particular interest in how children’s health has changed over time.
