The EHS Bursary provided vital financial and professional support during the final year of my PhD at Queen’s University Belfast. It funded emergency medical travel, the purchase of rare academic books, and digitisation of archival data essential to my dissertation. The bursary also enabled me to attend the Economic History Society annual conference in Glasgow and travel to meet academic mentors in the UK and US, opening opportunities for future collaborations. Additionally, it helped cover essential costs during an intense writing period. This support has ensured my well-being, sustained research progress, and advanced my future path towards academic opportunities.
