We invite prize nominations for outstanding contributions to creating, compiling, and sharing data and information in economic history. One prize will be awarded biennially and the winner will be announced at the Annual Conference.

The prize is intended to recognize the importance that the creation and sharing of data play in the field of economic history, broadly defined. The judges will take an expansive view of the form which data may take. In considering nominations, the judges will consider the scale of the impact and future potential that the data contributions have across locations, time periods and fields.

The prize may be awarded to an individual or small group of researchers (up to five individuals). It cannot be awarded to an organization.
