Anna Molnár is a medieval historian specializing in women’s involvement in urban finances in late medieval Central Europe. She completed her PhD at King’s College London in 2024, with a thesis titled The Participation and Role of Women in Urban Finances in Late Medieval Vienna. Her research focuses on how female participation in financial transactions evolved during the 15th century. Currently, as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Economic History Society, Anna is transforming her doctoral research into a major article that will explore the causes for change in women’s participation in late medieval credit markets across Central Europe.
