I am incredibly grateful for being a recipient of the PhD bursary scheme of the EHS as I approach my final year. As a part-time, self-funded student, I have had to balance work with my research all through my PhD. The support of this bursary has allowed me to take on less paid work, contributing to my basic living expenses and thus gifting me with time to focus on writing up two chapters of my thesis and editing previous work.
