Philip Fliers researches economic, financial and business history in 20th-century Britain and The Netherlands. He has a particular interest in the interwar period. He completed his doctoral studies at Rotterdam School of Management in 2016. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in Finance at Queen’s University Belfast and a research associate at the Queen’s Centre for Economic History and the Centre for Economics, Policy and History; he is also chair of the Society’s New Researcher Prize Committee.
