I am incredibly grateful for the EHS Bursary Scheme for PhD Students and for the funding that I received from it. As a self-funded doctoral student trying to complete doctoral studies in the context of the COVID-19 global pandemic, the funding was essential for helping to cover living expenses in the final stages of the doctoral studies journey. The bursary provided critical financial support which helped me to complete my doctoral studies.
