Nick is a PhD student at the University of Exeter researching time use and gender in England between 1700 and 1850. His research interests cover the economic and social history of early- modern and nineteenth-century England, in particular work, leisure, gender, and the human experience of the economy. He holds a BA in History and Archaeology and a MRes in Economic and Social History, both from Exeter.
