Universidad de Chile

Mauricio is a PhD student at the Universidad de Chile researching international trade and state capacity in early nineteenth century Chile and South America (1810 – 1850). His research interests focus mainly on state capacity and international economic linkages, while also expanding into quantitative methods. He holds a Bachelor’s in History from the Universidad de Chile and an MSc in Economic History (Research) from the LSE.
