Noa received his Bachelor’s degree in International Management from ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences, which included a year at Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business. He then pursued a double degree Master in Economic Development and Growth (MEDEG), spending the first year at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and the second at Lund University in Sweden. His research focuses on Switzerland’s economic history, particularly through the lens of international trade, from the Belle Époque to the interwar period. Drawing parallels between the current era of globalization and the First Globalization, Noa examines how Switzerland, deeply intertwined with global trade, navigated the complexities of world trade. His work offers insights into the challenges and opportunities posed by globalization, with a focus on the socio-economic impacts of trade exposure and the political economy of trade policy.
