Leandro Prados-de-la-Escosura is Emeritus Professor of Economic History at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research. His current research interests are economic freedom and well-being in historical perspective and economic growth and distribution in the very long run.
