Youwei Adam Xing is a second-year PhD student in the Department of Economics at Clemson University in the USA. His research fields are Economic History and Public Economics. His current research focuses on the political distribution of canal construction in 19th-century America. He holds a BA in economics from Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics in China and a MA in economics from Ocean University in China.
