The Impact of Listing Regulation on IPOs – A UK Case
The generous funding provided by the EHS PhD Bursary in invaluable. It supported my archival research at the Guildhall Library in London. This enabled major progress on my empirical chapters analysing UK IPO outcomes in the 20th century, including dataset completion and survival-model estimation. The initial empirical findings were presented at the Society of Legal Scholars’ 106th Annual Conference on 2 September 2025. It also supported me in a parallel doctrinal study of cryptoasset regulation regarding retail-investor protection by bringing in historical insights of securities regulation, which was presented at the Socio-Legal Studies Association Annual Conference 2025.
